Assistant Front Desk Manager

The Front Desk Assistant Manager position requires an outgoing, positive, self-motivated person with attention to detail. This position is public facing and focuses on customer service. There is an element of behind-the-scenes administration so good communication with management is necessary. Whetstone’s core values of Gratitude, Dedication, Pride and Innovation are imperative to uphold as a role model and mentor to front desk staff. The Assistant Front Desk Manager will report directly to the Front Desk Manager.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience

  • 1-2 years Management experience preferred

  • 1+ year of climbing experience preferred

  • Experience in a sales environment

  • Rock Gym Pro software experience preferred

  • Attention to detail

  • Self-initiative to complete downtime tasks

  • Available to work 30-35 hours per week on average

  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends

  • Strong team player, able to give and receive feedback

  • Ability to act in a high-pressure/rescue situation

  • CPR/First-aid certification desired

Hours & Compensation

  • This is a non-exempt hourly compensated position
  • 30-35 hours per week
  • Shifts are Weekdays/nights and at least one weekend shift
  • Hourly wage starting at $18-20 based on experience
