Whether you’re new to the world of climbing or seasoned (potentially crusty) veteran climber, start here to prep everything you need for your first visit. Everyone is welcome and we have some special offerings for first-timers below. We love climbing and we can't wait to share it with you. Our standard day pass and rental gear rates are listed below, as well as some special options just for first-time climbers. Check 'em out and find one that meets you where you are.

Guided Climb
Want to start from the beginning? Get a guided intro to the world of climbing with the help of our staff. One of our experienced instructors will get you up on the ropes and give you a rundown of our bouldering area. You'll spend an hour with our instructor who will belay you up the wall and then you'll spend the rest of your day bouldering!

Climbing is best with a friend, so let us show you the ropes together! Our Intro To Climbing class will teach you how to belay your climbing partner up the wall safely. You'll also learn basic knot tying, climbing communication, and safety checks for you and your climbing partner.
Membership with Two-Week Trial
Looking to get a feel for the gym before committing? Enjoy a two-week, risk-free trial before starting your membership. Start your trial below and we'll give you two weeks to try us out! If you love it here, there's nothing else to do but keep climbing!
Beginner Climber Progression Package
If you're a newcomer to Whetstone, our beginner climber progression package has a ton of great benefits to start you off strong with the knowledge to keep going! The only fine-print is that you must be 13 or older and have never visited us before.
