Summer Bouldering League
July 8, 2026 - August 5, 2026
Four weeks, fresh boulders every Wednesday. One big party.
This isn't a competition for the strongest climber in the room, it's a competition for the ones that climb at their own limits as hard as they can.The scoring system makes sure a V1 climber can go home with just as many as a V10. Sign up, grab your team, and come ready to surprise yourself.
Who's in?
Anyone 16 and older. All abilities. Your grade doesn't determine your ceiling here.
How It Works
Fresh boulders premiere every Wednesday. League members get first access during live competition from 6:30 - 9:30 PM. Can't make a Wednesday? You've got 7 days to log your climbs on your own time. The weekly challenges and stoke points only happen on league nights, so show up if you can.
League nights
- Week 1: Wednesday, July 8
- Week 2: Wednesday, July 15
- Week 3: Wednesday, July 22
- Week 4: Wednesday, July 29
- After Party & Awards: Wednesday, August 5
How to sign up
Register below or at the front desk. Once you're in, you'll get an email with everything you need to download the KAYA app and join the league.
Teams
Max team size is 3. Each teammate's score adds to the team total, so the more people you bring, the better your shot. Coming in solo? Sign up as a free agent and we'll get you on a team on Week 1. More teammates means more points. Come make some friends and get after it.
What's included
- 4 weeks of fresh league boulders
- Gym admission on all league nights
- A league T-shirt
- Free food and drinks at the after party
What's with the scoring?
When you join the league in the KAYA app, you'll enter your current max V-grade (the highest grade you can regularly complete in a session). Your points are calculated from that baseline, and your top 5 boulders each week make up your score.
- Send at your max V-grade → 100 points
- Send one grade below → 80 points
- Send one grade above → 110 points
No Sandbagging allowed
NEW THIS YEAR. We're changing the way we bump grades based on outclimbing your max V grade to give you better opportunities to climb hard and get rewarded with more points.
If you climb 3 grades above your registered grade twice -OR- If you climb 4 grades above your registered grade ONCE, you'll be automatically bumped 2 grades below the sent grade.
Examples:
Competitor registered at V5 climbs two V8s will be bumped up to V6.
Competitor registered at V5 climbs one V9 will be bumped to V7.
Weekly challenges
On top of your climbing score, there are points up for grabs every league night for the weekly challenges. Some are climbing-related. Most are just about getting weird. Show up to find out.

After party & awards
We'll wrap up with free food and drinks, an awards ceremony, prizes, and a few surprises we're not legally able to tell you just yet. August 5th. Attendance strongly encouraged.
